Fredag 9 februar går verdens største Carnaval i gang i Rio de Janeiro og Diskoteket er med på festen og gjør om klubben til vår egen Sambodromo! Flydd direkte inn fra London, har vi gleden av å presentere vår spesielle gjester DJ Mark Taylor og Gary Johnson to av England mest anerkjente mega samlere av Brasiliansk musikk som har spilt funk, boogie, jazz og selvfølgelig Brazilian Beats på seminale klubber rundt i verden. Kvelden en feiring av Brasiliansk musikk og dens fantastiske rytmer. Det blir Samba, bossa, MPB, Batucada, Brasilian Funk & Disco fra kjente artister som Azymuth, Banda Black Rio, Jorge Ben, Claudia, Airto, Emilio Santiago, Marcos Valle, Ellis Regina og mange, mange flere. I den anledning vil vi ønske velkommen alle Brasilianere, Portugisere, Latin Amerikanere, Spanjoler og glade mennesker fra alle verdens nasjoner som er glad i å danse til en aften med det ypperste i brasilianske og latinske rytmer. Vi blir veldig glade om noen har lyst til å komme i Carnaval kostymer, og om noen har lyst til å gjøre noe spesielt: fremføre Capoeria f.eks. er de velkomne.
Na Sexta Feira dia 9 de Fevereiro começa o carnaval mais famoso do mundo no Rio de Janeiro e "Diskoteket" entra na festa transformando o club em Trondheim no nosso proprio Sambódromo! Direto de Londres convidamos o DJ Mark "Good Vibes" Taylor e Gary Johnson, dois dos maiores colecionadores de música brasileira da Grã- Bretanha que já tocaram soul, funk, boogie, jazz e , é claro, música brasileira em clubs tão importantes quanto o Brighton Jazz Rooms e a noite Brazilian Love Affair no Notting Hill Arts Club (Para citar só alguns!). A noite vai ser uma homenagem à música brasileira e seus ritmos maravilhosos. Voce vai ouvir Samba, Bossa Nova, MPB, Batucada, Funk Brasileiro e Disco e muito mais. Gostaríamos de convidar brasileiros, portugueses, latino-americanos, espanhois e todas as pessoas animadas de todos os países que gostam de dançar para uma noite do melhor em ritmos brasileiros e latinos. On Friday the 9th of February the worlds most famous Carnaval kicks of in Rio de Janeiro, and “Diskoteket “joins the party by turning the club in Trondheim into our own Sambodromo!
Direct from London we have invited DJ Mark ”Good Vibes ”Taylor, and Gary Johnson two of UK’s most celebrated mega collectors of Brazilian music. DJing soul, funk, boogie, jazz and of course Brazilian beats at seminal clubs such as The Brighton Jazz Rooms and Brazilian Love Affair at Notting Hill Arts Club (to name but a few!). The night will be a celebration of Brazilian music and its amazing rhythms. You’ll hear Samba, bossa, MPB, Batucada, Brazilian Funk & Disco and more. We would like to welcome all Brazilians, Portuguese, Latin Americans, Spanish and all other joyous people of all nations who are happy dancers for a night of the finest in Brazilian and Latin rhythms.
